I am a native of Autauga County and was raised with a strong appreciation for community involvement instilled by my parents. My passion for debate and public speaking was sparked at a young age and was further developed when I participated in the "Youth in Government" program offered by the local YMCA.
After completing high school, I pursued a degree in Political Science at the University of Alabama, where I had the opportunity to serve as an intern for United States Congressman William L. Dickinson. Following my internship, I was offered a position on Congressman Dickinson's District Staff, which I gladly accepted.
Congressman Dickinson, a retired attorney and former Circuit Judge, urged me to attend law school to further my education. After completing my legal studies, I established my practice in Prattville.
